I am looking forward to hearing the real story from Kiev. Fuck Putin.

Also fuck Time Warner and all the other cable/sat companies. If Michael could post a summary of his setup (or maybe start/bump a thread about home entertainment setups) that'd be fucking great. The moar of us who say "FUCK YOU" to these bastards, the better.

I'm happy to serve your needs, but my post in the last show's thread was not motivated by any kind of perceived stigma for seeing a psychologist, just the sanctity of science. I'm totally impressed by anyone who can afford to see a psychologist (or psychiatrist.)

Typing this implies it matters to me that you believe me though, and that's also erroneous, just in case you were going to misinterpret me (again.)

The value of my KaTG VIP subscription is so much better than cable. It's like comparing a bus pass to a limo service.

Also, an antenna and Netflix is a much better value than cable. Like driving yourself vs a bus pass.

Let's just assume that we can agree that riding the bus sucks, and cable sucks at least as bad as that.

I am getting ready to get rid of cable. I realized we were mainly watching Netflix. I was told all I needed to get the local stations was a good antenna.

I haven't had cable television since '06 or '07. It's one of the greatest things I've ever done. You really don't even need Netflix, Hulu or other similar streaming sites either but one step at a time. The only thing we need to worry about now are ISPs setting bandwidth caps or throttling speeds to specific sites making it impossible for users to watch a site like Netflix in HD or without constant slowdown or buffering.

*boom* "Keith and The Girl dot com"

for those who felt a lack of closure at the end of today's show.

Letterman has been coasting for a long time now. It's very rare that he has a guest on who he actually cares about. When he does the difference is easily noticeable.

I've started watching Craig Ferguson, especially the first half of his show which is just weird and seemingly aimed at stoners and trippers. He actually chats with his guests but its still the weakest part of the show.
