I gotta say, I didn't think Keith would like Eternals. I was cringing waiting for the review.

Lucy was great, I think this is the first time I've listened to her at regular speed. I used to listen to your shows at 2x, and her laugh.. I never imagined her laughing like that, it threw me lol still, i enjoyed the episode, keep up the good work.

Also, my forum name, I wont bore you with the details but its meant to be pronounced Savage.

Im really confused about her story with the landlords.
Pohl and Schwarz are German names, regular German names. Like the most regular sounding possible for my ears.
Maybe like Johnson or Smith for you. So did he indent to be antisemitic? How did he know that Lucy is Jewish?
Or are those names somehow only Jewish in America? But how?
To be even more confusing Schwarz means black in German.

I just yesterday talked with my younger colleague about the divorced for life stuff.
She got married very, very young by our standards, at 25.
( why. Seriously why. I am telling my kids to not get married before 30. For what.
Get to know yourself first)

Now there will be a divorce, she left the husband and has to write on every form that she is divorced and this at the age of 27.
Forever. Until she maybe gets married again.
Maybe she shouldn't. At least for the next years.

It’s more that for me Lucy seems German, more German than myself.
And she especially pointed out the name thing.

No one ever thinks I’m German. People also don’t think that I’m Polish. They think I’m from Croatia. I’m not at all. ( ok my dna analysis said I’m 8% from there) Now I’m married and have a German/neutral last name but I used have a name people couldn’t pronounce.
My mother just recently told the story when we came to Germany and were looking for an apartment and people refused to rent to people like us so she took out German aunt with her who did the talking.
And our last name didn’t help at all.

And racists normally love Germans. They did it first.
( ok this is not true but they really put their mark on racism)

I hear about the new superhero movies on podcasts and i know i will never see them.

1. Why start now
2. The last movie I saw was “ spies in disguise “ on Disney plus and by saw I mean the kids watched it while I was half watching and half working. Ok 25% watching and 75% working.
3. If they ever did one that was only 60 minutes we could maybe talk.
