3526: Severance

Keith and Chemda are ready to celebrate Keith’s birthday, but first Keith needs to discuss AppleTV+’s Severance finale and that fuckin’ liar Ben Stiller. Then the duo talks about the first black woman to ever be on the Supreme Court, Keith reviews Chris Rock’s 2009 Good Hair, and KATG discusses a construction company mistakenly demolishing the wrong home with no punishment.

I was so amused and glad to have my letter make it, and into a Keith rips the paper up gag no less.

As for the woman whose house was accidentally demolitioned, I suppose I can see how it’s not a criminal case but she definitely has grounds for a civil case. I’d assume that homeowners insurance would say this falls through some bullshit loopholes they have to get out of paying for a literal whole house.

I really do think that a lot of shows are built around the idea that people don't really watch-watch them. Goes back to Keith's anger at people walking around doing things while "watching" shows. Very rarely do I find it more enjoyable to sit and pay attention. That's when you see how shit 85% of the shows are. Join us, Keith! You'll enjoy your entertainment more.

Well, if you didn't learn from the doc

Chemda was right: We don't like our hair touched because of the product. But, also we might be wearing wigs/extentions how weird would that be if it came off while fucking . Also there's lots of hair "movements" that occurred since that documentary especially to maintain natural hair now (after fighting so hard to be able to wear it in its natural state). There are various wigs that do not require human hair. There are synthetic hair that you can actually wet and it gets wavy, there are front laced wigs that don't look like you're wearing wigs at all/crochet extensions/wigs too. There's also Keratin that straightens hair so relaxers aren't the only thing that can be used.

Anyway, I did mention Chris's doc in a previous comment. However, I wouldn't use it as the basic of educating you about Black hair. Maybe you need more different Black friends Keith. Black isn't a monolith.

I knew about keratin and everything you just said. Does that matter to our dialogue? Cause I promise I did.

No need to sue, this a common occurrence in construction. Contractors will show up to a house and start removing a porch, or landscaping, or a roof, or in this case a whole ass house. What ends up happening is the contractor eats up the loss and replaces whatever they removed with new work. Chances are the homeowner who's house got demo'd will just have to file an insurance claim on the contractor's insurance it'll take care of it.

We watched 3 episodes of severance. It was good so far but dark.
Especially for someone who like me works for a huge company it wasn't really relaxing
In the evenings.

Severance is one of fave shows in recent memory.

I was completely enthralled with each episode.

My partner liked it but found it to be kinda depressing, so they didn't continue.
