Totally unrelated but can I tell y’all about my best friend?

I’ve known her for 17 years and I don’t know about you but I’ve changed a lot in that time.

When we first met we were 18 year old sensitive babies with a lot of relational trauma so of course we were immediately obsessed with each other, and we’ve been through all the ebbs and flows. Most of the pain we’ve experienced in our relationship is because one or both of us were making assumptions about what the other was thinking/doing, and that would lead to one or both of us acting/reacting from said assumptions, which inevitably ends in one or both of us hurting the other unintentionally (or tbh for me sometimes intentionally out of self-preservation.) I've been wrong and it sucked. She's been wrong and it sucked.

I could go on but I’m wary of sharing too much of my personal experience. Anyways, thanks for listening to this very unrelated tangent.
