My first thoughts hearing Dad story about the dog and Keith was, interesting how the Dad knew his son murdered a dog and didn't punish him in any way or try to make sure Keith knew it was bad and to never do it again. No repenting for sons? He felt the need to correct his kids over making jokes at the cat. This petty ass man would be all over dog murder. Sounds to me the real villain is the adult man that did nothing about his dog murdering son.

But then when Rod and Keith talked about the Dad becoming a priest to possibly flee people he scammed... Keith's Dad totally murdered a dog by throwing rocks at it. He hide the evidence by digging a perfectly curcular hole and buried it. He needed to then flee, became a priest to hide, scammed a woman to become his wife, and then had kids that he trained to dig perfect holes as well.
