If you're in HOAville... check your CC&R's. There might be some action the HOA can take. But it's community to community. In my HOA, there are only certain types of neighbor disputes we can get involved in. Just a thought.

Idea #1 isn't illegal persay, but I wouldn't recommend it. This would just provoke them into calling the authorities even more than they do now in order to avoid any contact with you. Ideas 2 and 3 would easily land you in jail, #3 could even cause Federal authorities to get involved so that is a VERY bad idea.

The best course of action is to just live your life within the confines of your local laws. Research to find out what the quiet hours are for your city or county you live in. You also need to check the rules for your HOA. Police enforce the county or city ordinance, HOA rules are enforced by your elected committee which could force you from the property or impose fines. Then find out what "reasonable" noise levels are for your area. Continue to have people over and annoy them, but avoid breaking any laws. Be polite and respectful to the officers and explain that you "arent trying to make your neighbors angry" but merely doing your best to obey the rules and enjoy your home.

If you do this and continue to do so your neighbors could eventually face charges for telephone misuse (or whatever law it may be in that area) for repeatedly phoning the police.

of course finding a middle ground where both yourself and your neighbors can be happy is always the best course of action, though I have found there are certainly people out there who simply can't be pleased

I have some neighbors who have been very douchy to me ever since highschool, I was always a "good kid" but they treated me as I was the coke snortyest whore banginest doucher in town. They called the cops on my party which was NOT loud one bit and told them we were wasted. So we had to wait as the cops searched and found nothing. I can't stand neighbors like that.

So, today I have the day off and thought that it might be the perfect time to have a chat with my neighbors. I went over there at 12 in the afternoon and knocked on their door. The woman answered and just stared at me. I told her I was her neighbor next door and wanted to clear up some issues that have and might occur. First, I apologized for the inconvenience that i have put them through and told her that if they had any other issues that they could respond to me personally. I then gave her a list of my contact info... She looked at it then handed back, asked me "do you know what time it is?" then mumbled "go fuck yourself" as she shut the door on me.

This will be the first and last time I make nice... now I will not care one bit if I somehow create a disturbance to them.

And this is the first time I've seen this lady in good lighting and am probably 95% sure she and her partner are Meth heads... with the most crypt keeper looking face with I presume to be scabs on her face and arms... or she could have very terrible acne.

2. When they are out doing yard work or washing their cars have a friend park up to my house and exchange a bag of sugar or oregano for cash in front of them then I would walk back inside eyeballing them..... or I can order from him a seemingly large amount of pharmaceutical drugs as if I were to make my own drugs at home.
