please excuse my mistake as I am young and still learning, I have no idea how I could have thought that an alcoholic beverage that comes in a beer bottle could have been beer.

Seriously though, of course I'm a fan of the cap'n and coke, but I wanted to get really fucked up that night so I thought something that went down easier would work faster. Ended up being able to drive home that night.

Also, I know the general hate for Four Loko, but they now sell ones without the caffeine, and it's a cheap way to get drunk if you don't like beer.

I did do shots, i did like 3 shots, the shit was worse then regular vodka so THEN i tried to mix it with some soda.

Yes, I'm teaching you. Shots SUCK!!! They NEVER taste good. They are SHOTS!!! Keep doing them. It will never get better, but they sure have the desired effect.

OK - I was a bartender for many years and I've been known to get around the outside of a bottle or two. If you're looking for a cheap, delicious buzz then you need to take a lot of other things into consideration.

The amount of alcohol in a drink / the amount of water in a drink - taken as a factor of time to consume said drink dictates how drunk you get.

Spicy or carbonated beverages will increase your stomachs absorption rate. Food present in your gut before beginning to drink will slow the absorption rate. Food will not "soak up the alcohol" after you've started drinking; it may settle your stomach if you're feeling sick from too much drinking, however.

Some easy and effective drinks:

Gatorade and vodka or rum: Gatorade mixes with either vodka or rum well. It also comes in a wide mouth bottle, so you can easily add the alcohol of your choice. You put as much as one third of the volume of liquid in clear booze into your Gatorade before the color starts to look suspicious, a nice thing to know if you need to carry a beverage somewhere you aren't allowed to have alcohol.

Screwdriver: Vodka and orange juice. Easy, delicious, vitamin C, not a girlie drink really.

Bourbon and iced tea: Tastes great, less filling because you don't need sweet tea (the bourbon will sweeten it for you). Not a girlie drink.

Tabascoka: Vodka shots with a dash of Tabasco sauce. Spicy and non-girlie. The hot sauce acts an irritant to your stomach lining and speeds up the uptake of alcohol. How smooth does shit have to be when you shoot it? Man up.
