That is a great tactical thought, cut off their power supply. Thing is, that is the only supply that they need to function, so it is safe to assume that they will have planned for every situation when it comes to their power supply. It is doubtful that we would be able to cut them off enough to stop them from functioning. Add to that, the amount of disbelief that would come through the human race, nobody would willfully shut down all electricity.
