1152: The Daily American
"This is old school Somerset passive-aggressiveness."

I haven't heard the show but I read the article from the Daily American online... and wowzers!
As a journalist who has worked at big metros and small daily and weekly papers, I can understand maybe having a few very young, inexperienced writers on the Daily American staff because of its size, but that story was pretty damn horrible. It barely scratched the surface on... anything... and "Chema?" Come on! Do a little simple research before you write something. That shows a total lack of effort or concern from the writer and copy editors. Maybe for the Somerset paper the story worked, but I was really hoping for something much better. It should have been a "local boy does good" type of thing, or maybe something with Keith now doing more "adult" humor coming from such a wholesome place like Somerset. That's the real story. It's great KATG is getting publicity, but unfortunate the story is of such poor quality. Maybe I should write something up, I just don't know where it would be posted besides my blog. Keith and Chemda, let me know if you want to do anything. As always I'd be more than happy to do something for the show to help you guys out.

Small Town papers employ young inexperienced people as temp 'cause they cost less and are easily disposable. I dont know if that's the case, but every time i have to give apress release or an interview for some event i orgnize i happen to meet some 20 year old that has no idea what she's going to write about and can barely write.
In other words, i'm not surprised. Anyway, you did great in the interview, Keith and you should be proud. It's an "in your face" to your hometown. you're a talented celebrity and a good person too. They need to realize it and kiss your ass. Last edited by Junkenstein; 03-30-2010 at 04:58 AM. |

Well, I haven't heard the show yet, but I was part of the kickass P!SP! on chat that got the advance preview of the interview.
I would score Tiffany's interviewing skills at a 6/10. I minused points for thinking the interview was about her sometimes, misspelling Chemda's name, and the implied suggestion that she was planning on springing this whole interview on Keith's parents next time she sees them at church. Meanwhile, I would score Keith a 9.5. Minus .5 because you can always improve. |

No sympathy for the ear problem Keith. I had it, I emailed you to tell you how to fix it, you seem to have no memory of that even though you read it on the show. You only have yourself to blame at this point.
