i take that time buffer as a diffuser. the distance is a nice emotional cushion when it comes to minimizing the dumbfuck jealous feeling that comes with being human. i'm not speaking to the health of it, but i get it. maybe i don't need to know about the hot as fuck hula hoop girl right away, but it'll make a lovely story next spring when i'd be able to see it clearly in hindsight.
