I really feel like we just blew right by the part where Alex is a nanny. For children, I assume. Children whose parents I also assume want to see them actually make it to their 11 birthday.

For a drug expert how could Alex not know that Extasy and Molly are the same thing, MDMA?

Extasy originally was pretty pure MDMA, but over time has become weaker, and is cut with speed and PMA. Then Molly came out, supposedly pure MDMA. But now Molly is cut with much the same shit.
