It's probably even simpler than that. Who had even heard of the app before this show? So if they had 12 people in Illinois use the app, and 3 of those people swiped on String Cheese, it becomes "People in Illinois HATE string cheese more than anything else!"
It's pretty telling that absolutely nothing is repeated in any 2 states. |

I would have gotten in trouble if I came home from school and said someone hit me, without a followup story of how I beat their ass and am now suspended.
The rule was always "Never hit first. But you better defend yourself" I was always taller and more athletic looking than everyone else (including the boys until high school) so it was never something I had to do. |

Why the hate, I love them and my son really gets a lot out of them.
My son in autistic and sometimes when he is stressed out I can hand him a fidget spinner and he can focus on playing with it and you can see him physically relax. It's much less disruptive than him tapping on things and let me tell you this kid, he has a black belt when it comes to tapping. He puts his fingers together and is so loud. I've tried to tap as loud as he does and it hurts my fingers. I've also given fidget spinners to my nieces and nephews, it's fun watching them spin. Who doesn't like to watch things spin? I like to drop straw rappers on them while they spin, the rapper goes flying and he (ed. my son) giggles every time. Last edited by Scorpion; 07-28-2017 at 08:14 AM. |
