I had the burger. I actually had two in one meal: the spicy and the regular. It was flamazing, but it was also my first meal after running for two and a half hours so it may have objectively been garbage.

Oh shit so far I'm the only one to have had it, let me elaborate:

I grew up loving chick fil a, and didnt realize until I was like 20 how bigoted they were. But, they objectively had the best chicken sandwich, and my in laws were always keen to get chick fil a. However, life for me changed when popeyes put out a viable chicken sandwich competitor, because then I could actually fully boycott chick fil a and not be the family kill joy: I could just say "no but let's do popeyes".

Now I need a viable Amazon competitor and I can feel pretty good about my purchasing decisions.

I had both the spicy and classic last week. The wait time was normal for that particular Popeyes location. The Classic was very basic, so plain it was pointless to eat. The spicy was good but all of its flavor was in its mayo. The chicken sammies I made a few months back were better.

I had the Popeye's sandwich. It's yummy! I also didn't have to fight anyone or stand in a ridiculous long line. Just a regular day of "oh, I'll pop in here for lunch since it's right down the block." A few days prior to that, I walked in, saw too many people (forgot it was sandwich mania time) and just walked right out and got lunch elsewhere. If only I'd known I could have just stabbed my way to a sandwich.
