You’re right, that sounded really mean...I was trying in a clumsy way to work out why exactly the husband was treating the wife like she’s so worthless, and assuming it was probably because she’s not a stone cold hottie, and also that she’s probably a bit nerdy herself to have been good with the hobby before this went down. I know a lot of bigger women who are amazing and loved and lovable. I also know that looking hot won’t get you real love, so an unattractive person when they do find it has a better chance of finding the real deal...just like a rich man has a harder time finding real love.

I don’t think being skinny or beautiful makes a person more lovable but I do think childish men treat skinny/beautiful women better.
