What kind of mp3 player? I'm interested in getting a seamingly broken mp3 player for cheap and fixing it with a few "modifications" I have recently called around and learned that all mp3 players have the same basic parts and I recognize that i can fix some of them, I want to try increasing the memory on some of those "second class" mp3 players and see how well they can be modified. The only modifications i'm willing to make to my video ipod though are the ones where I sanded the back of my case with a checker pattern. Hope i never need to send it in, i suppose my warranty is out the door.

it's an easymp3, cheap but it has line in mp3 recording, still under warranry though so i'll probably be sending it back for a new one.
