Yeah there's gotta be some kind of middle ground between a socialist dictatorship and capitalist oligarchy parading as democracy.

what if that was a false binary? What if free market capitalism was by far the best organization system the world has ever seen and Oligarchy parading as democracy was a knock on effect of government intervention?

"I shall not trade one king 10,000 miles away for 10,000 kings 1 mile away." Democratic tyranny of the few by the many is the issue my dear friend (in both systems - just more obvious the further you slide away from capitalism and into collectivism).

I'm sorry but this is very wrong. For this statement to be true the communist (thus not capitalist) societies have no (i'll spot you less) disparities and crime? Fell like you may need to revisit these areas of your history studies.

I get that! I also think the capitalism in the US is especially intense. My point is that other systems also create big problems. When I lived in Poland as a child I know people were afraid to speak freely like in China or Russia today. They were afraid to go to jail for being critical about the government.
The level of alcoholism were insane. So this is not the solution either.

On the real, though, does Murf realize how ridiculous and contradictory it sounds to say there could be heroin use without addiction... like experimental or recreational... He said that and I was just like NOPE NAH NO.

And then not 10 minutes later he described the exact shit that every experimental/recreational person who is "self medicating" turns into - stealing from their family and selling shit and doing crimes.

I agree here!
I just don’t agree with the thought that capitalism is to blame for everything including a guy who traumatizes someone with a gun.
It has to be the fault of the gun guy somehow too. Otherwise no one is responsible ever.
I was raised in an unfree country and I’m not walking around slapping people and blaming it on communism.

Doesn't this hold for druggy who steals shit, they are responsible for stealing not the drug. Isn't it the person who is stealing that is the problem not the drug user with self control? Drug use on it's own is a victimless crime (thus is it even a crime?) it is the violence and theft/trespasses against others for the drugs that is the real issue.

This idea of anyone who uses drugs becomes an addict and all actions are therefore the dugs responsibility and exonerates the individuals actions is the exact knock on of only discussing "rights" and never pairing them to responsibility. This has been the pattern since the 60s.
