Long Time listener, First time caller;

This place feels different.

I think the DJQ issue was a slap in the face to all of us. He felt it and we do also.

WE own the boards and the chat, more than K&C. They are ours to manage and care for. We police up the riff raff and set the kids straight. We welcome the newbie and search for old friends who have gone missing. Birthdays are announced and health issues are discussed.

Yes, I am the Top Poster and I feel a sense of ownership of the forums, so do others around here. The fact is, I feel slighted and stepped on. I was comfortable knowing our server was in the care of someone who cared about the forums. Yes Michael is in charge, but where is the server, the back ups, the database. It is in the hands of someone looking to make a buck, not someone looking for you to make a buck.

I should not have to say "I love the show and both of you" You know that, I should not have to say "make a buck, we are rooting for you" I am. Just take care of the people who take care of you.

I am not speaking for the community, but for myself as part of this community.

I can't help but think that The Girl has more to do with this than Keith. I also can't help but realise that there's far more to this story than will ever be mentioned on these forums, or mentioned on the show.

Did Quad start talking about his investment (ergo, payback) too much? Did MichaelApproved put pressure on Chemda so he could take a ride on the next dotcom bubble?

Quad, you should push-back drinking for a few hours and call into tonight's live show. I think Keith and Chemda would appreciate the honesty, the gesture and the chance to put this whole mess to bed.

I didn't even mention it before this mess. When I saw that everything was moving, that's when I started realizing the things I outlined a few show threads back.

I was told I could still update the site.

I would like to think that K&C wouldn't be like that. I think/hope that you have the audience on your side at the moment. That's why you should call in now and set the record straight.

Believe me, I did. Way back before show #100, the first live one that I suggested to Keith that we should do.

After 2 years of giving time, effort, money, and resources, would you still appreciate it?

That question may have sounded like I'm greedy or that I think that I need to make millions because of what I invested in. Not the case at all. Ask around - I poured every resource I had available into KATG.

The way DJ Quad has been treated shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Keith has told many stories from his past on the show where people are simply kicked to the curb without so much as a goodbye for little apparent reason.

The only difference in the way DJ Quad has been treated compared with previous castoffs (and I'm not talking about people like Max or Andrea) is that this time everyone knows the person involved as opposed to the anonymous players from the past.

What's ironic is Keith and Chemda have spent a significant portion of this shows 430 episodes complaining about any slight against them in any form.

Even if DJ Quad did something that rubbed KATG the wrong way and that's why they kicked him they have some serious learning to do on how to manage a business and public relations. Either shut the fuck up and keep this sort of thing completely behind closed doors or put forward a proper case for why it was done. When businesses and sponsors consider doing business with others they look at how former associates were treated, especially when things go wrong.
