Chemda i was once in a really bad relationship and I absolutely recognize what you said. You want to find the sweet person from the beginning but that person doesn't exist. It was a made up person.

Also i had to realize why i stayed and what i got out of it.
I wanted to be a savoir.
I wanted to heal someone with love for eternal gratitude.
( i was 23 so....)

I had to realize that I don't have that power.

Whenever it's repeated that none of Keith's many siblings had any kids blow my mind. I'm not saying that "it's weird to not have kids" (not having kids is fine and valid) but that NONE of the Malley kids had their own kids is so telling. All of you went through that childhood and might be of different opinions on the ways of the world, but you all settled on one agreement: I'm not passing down any of this shit.

I think what happened with Gootz is that he was drunk when you texted him and he was like, "yeah sure, why not." Then he woke up the next morning and realized what he agreed to and backed out. I'm bummed he didn't call in, my boyfriend was rooting for him in that category!
