Karen: Glad to be back after an amazing KATG Week! The internet decided to keep the greatness of Chemda away from us. Shout out to Xerxes! This week we talked about Keith getting powers after his vaccine shots, Chemda breaking gender barriers on Diamond Dogs, and Keith’s dad’s best friend. (Spoiler alert: he doesn’t have one.)

We found out that technology is making it hard for cheaters to cheat, Chemda is leveling up to Childhood Trauma in therapy, and we love people who add the letter S to words that don’t need it.

You guys were discussing how you felt like Josh Lawson who played Kano in Mortal Kombat was improvising all his lines on set. He used to be a regular guest on an improv comedy show here in Australia called Thank God You’re Here and he was always hilarious, so I think you may be on to something.

Oklahoma has already put in a law that makes it a felony to record the police in any situation. It’s not Likely to hold up to the Supreme Court but it has to get there first. So fucked up

I get plant gnats if I put my houseplants outside on a nice day or in the summer. Or when I purchase a new plant, they will frequently have gnats. I've eliminated them from my house with an easy method I learned from another plant group.

First, I use the sticky paper when I notice there is an infestation - little stakes that go in the plant, these will catch any of the adult gnats flying around. Then, I only water with a special water - I infuse a gallon of water with something called "mosquito dunks" ...these are used in ponds or standing water to keep mosquitos from breeding, but it is also effective in houseplants and kills any eggs or larvae that are in the soil. So using both these methods at the same time fix any gnat problem within a week.

I'm a chick that loves my houseplants, and gnats annoy the fuck outta me.

I use a method called slowly watching my plant die and then one day the gnats have nothing left to eat.

It’s like being able to put my body in stand by pretty fast.

Sometimes, when I had a hard day and maybe 30-60 minutes of free time I can lie down on our sofa, set my phone to alarm in 30-60 minutes, put something dark on my eyes and Fall asleep immediately.
It really feels like actively letting go and falling, letting go of the tension in my body, one minute after closing my eyes. I never use music or podcasts to do it because it takes longer with something in my ears. When I wake up I feel great, fresh and as if someone organized in my head.
My father has this talent too, other family members envy it.
They say they can’t fall asleep so fast and even if they did, they would feel sick afterwards.

Hung out with friends who "LOVED" the Mortal Kombat movie and yeah...I'm right there with you Keith. why do they have to lie to my fucking face? I said it was "dumb" didn't say it was bad and they were SCREAMING at me "WHAAT? I LOVED IT. IT WAS SO GOOD. THEY DID THE MOVES." and I just stopped talking. There's no reasoning with that level of crazy.

There was too much plot already and the plot made it suck harder. "We have to prepare for the tournament! We have to prepare! Nothing is more important than the tournament! THE TOURNAMENT!.....jk!"
The fight sequences were so fucking weak! So slow and obviously filmed by a westerner. Shang fucking Tsung didn't do ANYTHING! Such a famous actor hired to talk about how sexy his bird girlfriend is and what a PUNK BITCH Raiden is.
If it had the same plot but ACTUAL violence and stunts it would have been great. LIKE VENOM! But it was lackluster and dumb. Best part were Jaxx's nipples

I agree with all of this except the Venon part obviously.
