There are YouTube channels which collect TENS OF THOUSANDS of subscribers from reacting to movie trailers and it's GOOFY that you guys aren't doing them given that you're funnier and more interesting than at least 127% of these professional reactors. I meeeeeeeean, the phenomenon is so huge there are even other channels dedicated to compiling trailer reactions.
21K subs 79K subscribers 110K subs 193K subs 76K subs It's like Silent Trailers but with a faaaaar lower workload. Money for jam baby. |

I can easily see why him 'just' wanting to be a comedian in NYC can break up a marriage.
I'm gonna assume she is a normal person with a 9-5 style job and would like a partner that she can spend time with and start planning a future and she doesn't want to live in NYC. And we all have been listening to the show long enough to know that trying to make it as a comedian will mean years of hanging out at clubs most nights of the week, doing shows at several places that pay next to nothing and the rest of the time networking with other comedians. So they would rarely see each other and moving to Jersey or upstate New York would actually mean they see each other even less because of travel time. So I think it's perfectly valid to not want to be married to a partner if that means 10 years of loneliness in a part of the country you don't like. And if it all works out and he makes it big the only thing that changes would be the money because he would probably have to tour around the country so they still wouldn't see each other a lot. |

1. open toy packaging 2. whisper and scratch paper and clink glasses quietly 3. watch movie trailers 4. fight in carparks (I have to admit I do enjoy some H3 once in a while though, I am a sucker for that goofy bastard.) |

In groups people are scared to act and assume that someone else will make the first move. Imagine a link here to some story I read in psych class 11 years ago about people listening to a woman get raped from their apartment windows, all guessing someone else listening would call the cops first, since they all saw each other in their windows.
But I've seen both cases on the train, once someone told some loud assholes to shut up and people started to speak up with him, another time someone was smoking on a packed train and one guy started an argument with him from across the car to put it out. No one spoke up for either one of them (it was morning rush, raining and we were squished in there. Who had the energy to do anything besides breathe?) The yelly guy walked across the car and took the cig out of his mouth, yelling at him the whole time. No one cheered for him or told the other guy off. So I guess pick your battles?

re Chemda's point about upstate NY being similar to Oklahoma - I understand what she means but there's a lot more to a place than scenery & OK strikes me as very country/Southern and very different to NY state. I just proved my point by finding Little Dixie.

you won't find civil war knickknacks are sweet tea but you'll find as many american flags, tractors, houses surrounded by acres of nothingness, slow living style, kindness to strangers and republicans upstate as you would in most of the south

One of the very few KATG topics that makes me instantly zone out is poker stories. Poker's kind of like basketball - fun as heck to play, boring as heck to watch or hear about.
It's a measure of how dang good Clayton was that I wasn't even close to zoning out when he was yapping about poker. |
