Oh, I see my 40-ties are very different because you know, I have all the things. And lots of energy.
But maybe you will be glad to hear that I still pretty much always think I could do more and be better and more efficient.
And when I did something great or people tell me that im the greatest I only feel it like: well, good. That’s today. 1000 new tasks are waiting.

Once a co worker told me when she and her boyfriend don’t know what to do they ask themselves
“what would Apia do” and now he made her a bracelet with this sentence on it.
I only felt mildly amused.

Newsy you are a stinker for stirring the pot at the end by telling Keith to give Chemda his Hulu…and it started a minor tiff. How proud are you of yourself Chu?

The first time I noticed it was with the word “shmata”
Chemda speaks polish now? That’s what I first thought. It means exactly the same in polish.

The Gym changing room talk sparked some kind of PTSD for me so I'm gonna share.

Earlier this year I joined a gym and the changing rooms were...traumatic. The two highlights (or lowlights as it were) were the guy who looked like he was wearing a sweater even with all of his clothes off, casually standing at the counter drying his chest hair, back hair, balls etc with the communal hair dryer.

But worse was ( I kinda feel bad about this one) the late 60's guy who has not a hair on his body, but is also blind. He would wander about the locker room with his cane and a towel around his neck. A couple of times I'd be sitting down, putting my socks on or tying my shoes and hear "click, click, click" coming closer, look up and there's something that looks like a bald turkey neck flopping about closing in fast.

I still cringe thinking about it.

Newsy! It rules that you're getting amongst some constructioning!

On the off chance you happen to have any favourite renovation carpentry-oriented YT channels, holler.

Thanks! I'm at the lumber store right now. I started watching The Honest Carpenter on YouTube - mostly to learn what Not to do so I'm not being unsafe or wasting materials. But yeah, 4 days a week on site, 3 days at the restaurant. Such a good use of my Time!

NICE!

I dig Ethan The Honest Carpenter's style, and not just because in his vid from a couple of weeks ago he totally validated my entire being by choosing the same table saw as I did (hashtag humblebrag?).
