Hey hey it's my birthday! I’m so glad I got to spend it laughing with friends, and that includes you! This week we talked about hotels, divorce, veterans, 40s, LGBTQ issues, candy, theft, wrestling, and tech support.

I dont hate my father. I'm annoyed by him from time to time ( he has unrealistic expectations, is impressed by status symbols, and his humor is sometimes questionable) but he has really great sides.

He supports me in my career 100% for example, when my son was a baby and I had to be in another city for work for a month, he was already retired and my mother was not.
I rented an apartment for him and the baby for the month and he stayed with my son for the month there ( - the weekends) and took care of everything ( feeding, changing diapers, going for walks) while I was at work.
I think this was pretty cool.
He is a non creepy, non alcoholic family man who is extremely reliable and good with money.
It could be worse.
I married a man with the same traits.
