Using the definition of sodomy to describe a sexual act is ridiculous for the following reasons:

1- It's a term derived from the Bible ( Sodom and Gomorrah - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) to describe "unnatural" sexual behavior.

2- It has become a legal definition because of the influence of Judeo-Christian culture on our laws.

3- The various acts which are described in our legal codes as "sodomy" don't necessarily bear any resemblance to each other except for the fact that they are "sex acts."

Do yourself a favor and don't perpetuate the language. I've read enough of your posts to get the idea that you are a pretty fun-loving and experimental dude. Run with your instincts and don't borrow from religious definitions, even if they are accepted dictionary definitions. Our legal codes do the same thing when they classify marijuana as a narcotic (which it isn't). Not too long ago there were legal procedure to determine if someone was practicing witchcraft.

Bad definitions are a pet peeve of mine, so I'm sorry if this went to a bad place for you. I'll put the red pen away now.

Whew, all I was trying to do in my post was make a silly "entrance" and "exit" joke. I agree that if it feels good, and takes place between consenting adults, then you should be good to go.

There are some physiological differences with the way our bodies handle bacteria and viruses introduced into what the body is set up to recognize as "in's" and "out's" ... but I imagine I've said enough for now.
