Which is Better Doom or Lord of the Rings
I've been having this argument amongst my friends recently.
I enjoyed Doom, but no one else i've talked to has. (I've never played the video games either) I found the Lord of the Rings movie extremely boring and i didnt identify with the characters at all. It was like watching a chess game. The main character Frodo basically spends the whole movie with the same depressing look on his face, while the other characters just existed and i felt like i was just expected to like the them while the movie didnt give me any reason too. So cast your opinions and votes and tell me what you think. Last edited by Jo_Culprit; 08-03-2010 at 10:28 PM. |

"Since you do not 'condone' LotR, your sites have been 3'd until further notice. Still...nothing justifies 5'ing LotR. Not even Doom music."
... also I voted for LotR. |

Doom was laughable.
LOTR was boring. I just borrowed the DVD's from a friend so i could fast forward to the giant battle scenes. Those scenes are really the only entertaining thing about the movies. |

I personally say meh to both (though I stfu about it irl because of LoTR nerds). It's hard to compare the two, but I have to pick Doom because I was actually in a mood to watch a silly action movie, while I'm never in a mood to watch a boring epic (I only went with friends). However, I actually stayed awake through all 3 LoTR in the theater, but fell asleep during Doom (but that was watching it back at the hotel after a night of poker).
Also, lol at people seeing Doom in theaters. |
