My mom is a social worker in child protection so often she is familiar with the lingo of the kids. I asked her if she'd ever heard the phrase "assed out" and she had not. I think she was disappointed that she did not know it. She asked me to use it in a sentence. A few days later she randomly referred to something as "assed out". Thinking back on it, she might have used it wrong, but still she made the effort. She now periodically uses the phrase (sometimes correctly). Next on my list is to get my grandma to use the phrase "assed out".
