Speaking of brilliant, USA again gives up a goal within the first 15 minutes of their first World Cup match. #goengland

I'm still having trouble understanding why Americans care about soccer all of a sudden.

Anything we're involved in, it seems we have to suddenly convey some exuberant interest.

I watched the last half hour of that USA-England game, and man, I don't think I've ever been so bored. Granted, as a US citizen I want the US to beat everyone else's ass, but I don't see why anyone could be a fan of this sport -- even if it's just every four years.

I guess its not for you then? Why does everything have to be?

The US-England match was the most exiting match so far, and both teams played a good game, although England was better and were unlucky the ball slipped past their keeper.

The Argentina game was somewhat boring, the team collectively isn't looking so well...........

My point is that it's not just not for me, it seems to also not be for most Americans, except during this event. If you're a fan, you're a fan: Don't pretend like you are just because it's popular right now.

What game were you watching that yo thought England played better? US owned the first half, and the second half was 50/50 at best.
