I'm hoping he dropped it for another character to find. Hopefully the writer's of the show are planning on throwing both fat pig and incest ho off the walls of Castle Black.

The White Walker who died looked like the leader of them from their first appearance. He deserved a greater death and he will be missed.

Sam the Slayer has more than one of those. Remember in season 1 he found a whole nap sack full of them. In the book the dagger shattered at that point, not sure if it happened in the show or not.

Damn. Now I'm re-thinking this whole 'don't read the book' post I just made.

In the TV show he stabs the White Walker in the back as it's going towards the woman and her baby. The Walker turns to ice and shatters. Sam the Fat and Useless drops the stone knife on the ground.

HBO fucked up. They should have made the knife shatter. Thanks Tank. That clears up a lot. We all just assumed Sam was too fat and stupid to pick up the knife again.

So does anyone know, (Tank, I'm looking at you) why Theon Greyjoy is being tortured? It's a hard guess as so many characters have reason to hate him.

I haven't posted into this thread before, but....

As someone who has read the books I do know the who and the why. I imagine almost all book readers know (there aren't any chapters set in the torture room, but a lot is implied) and maybe 10% of non-book readers have been able to put the clues together to figure it out.

Ok. If I'm close you tell me. I think that weird guy that tortures and cut his dick off is either Theon's sister's lover OR the brother of the two farm boys he killed.


That or the reincarnation of Eddard Stark?

Also, I don't like how Jamie Lannister lost his sword hand. In real life, the Republican Party, (which is essentially the House of Lannister) never loses a hand. That would imply they can't count all their money... It's not based in reality and threw me a bit.
