Good thing I'm not a doctor, I would have too much fun telling every patient that they are going to die a terrible terrible death, regardless of the ailment (I would of course tell them I was just joking, but only after they started to cry).

no necrosis? no problem!
as long as i can still breathe and are in no danger of losing limbs, i dont bother with medical care. but id say its likely you might be allergic to what stung you. or its infected. id take a benadryl, and maybe keep one with you at all times, in case it happens again, and you have a different level of reaction. as i understand it, and im no doc, allergic reactions can vary pretty randomly in severity. so id make sure to have something close by if it ever happens again in case you go into anafalactic shock(no idea how thats spelled). if its infected, make sure the stinger isnt still embedded in your skin, its a wasp, not a bee, you said, so its unlikely. watch for shit lookin like its dying, red veins leading away from the wound, numbness maybe....are you running a fever, i hear thats a sign of the body fighting infection? im sure DC will poo poo all this, but thats how id handle it. but i lack medical insurance. i wonder if you can get parasites from a wasp sting? i know theres some crazy parasites that they can have, and i know about some fucked up shit they do to caterpillars, ending up growing inside them, castrating and eventually killing them, and fighting with eachother growing inside the caterpillar, but im sure you dont have that to worry about.
