this seems like something i would do (albeit no where near as creative), only it would be a veiled attempt to express displeasure. and would probably end up getting us into a fight where i have to insist that it was my idea of humor.

let's see...other than random flowers...not anything as creative. although i did bring her home some of her favorite girl scout cookies home the other day. which, believe you me, was a hard thing to do. it was either get the ones i wanted (peanut butter and chocolate ones) or the mint ones that she wanted (and i don't really like). after weighing it out in my head...i decided to get the mint ones. that's romantic, right?

oh yeah, on valentines day i photoshoped a picture of her inside a heart and made it the computer desktop wallpaper. the only thing is, she never smiles in pictures that i take of her (i guess cause i constantly take pictures) so it's her with this huge scowl on her face with a heart surrounding her that says, "keep on smilin'!" she didn't find that funny. i thought it was though.

In college, one of my girl friends was having a really shitty, stress filled year. So I decided to do something to cheer her up. Her fav. animal is the cow, so I was like hmmm. So I went to the local party store and bought 25 balloons black, white, a few green (for grass), and 2 pink ones (for the nose and the utter). I got in touch with her roommate to let me in while she was in class and I set them up to look like a big balloon cow. I also got a nice thing of her favorite flowers and one pink rose and a mix cd of some good tunes. I had a card with it all that just said, "just to see you smile"...
