I like to have my seat directly above the wings. That's where most of the fuel is stored so in the event of a crash hopefully I will be the first one incinerated so I don't feel anything.
Think about this. I worked as a machinist at Boeing for 5 years. If you get on a Boeing plane theres a chance I made the parts for it. Be afraid kids, be very afraid.

Plenty of transcripts and a few audio files (click on ATC). Some of the audio files are pretty disturbing.

A couple of weeks ago, I had an ultra realistic dream in which my plane was going down. I woke up at the moment of the impact... It a funny feeling to know with certainty that you are living your last seconds. Scary but an interesting experience.

Not the same dude. Planes are so old nowadays, and there's always human neglect to consider in the maintenance of the plane.

Hey, all this bullshit about "statiscally your more likely to die behind the wheel of a car than in a plane" is only true because you spend a bigger chunk of your life behind the wheel of a car than you do in a plane.... so if your going to die, statistically (and obviously) its more than likely to happen when your in a car, than when your in a plane.

Statiscally, some people are more likely to die on the toilet, than behind the wheel of a car, which is supposedly more likely to happen than when your on a plane.

So in theory, your more likely to die on the toilet, than you are in a plane crash.

Fuck that, I'll take my chances having a poo.

(What if your on the toilet in the plane, whilst its gonna crash? Does that give you a "Get out of jail free" card? )
