International Sales
I want to order a KATG shirt, problem is nowadays I live in the UAE.
I realize that shipping costs will be more than the cost of the shirt (it's just how it goes). But here is the thing, currently the system is not set up in such a way that I can check out with my paypal account, so I guess I will have to order it "manually". Who do I need to contact to make arrangements, anyone know? |

For the record, the inspiration came while at the local shopping mall.
I think it would be amusing to take a picture of myself, donned in KATG shirt, while surrounded by the "ninjas" (women in full abayas). |

In a show a while ago Keith quickly mentioned something about Paypaling an extra $10 or so and that later they'd 'figure it out'. The UAE may be a bit more than that... so I dunno. I'm sure it's a pain... but maybe they won't mind helping ya out.

I just sent $10 via the donate button with an explanation that it was for the shipping costs for my t-shirt order. They sent the shirt, so I assume that was cool.
But are you saying that you can't pay using PayPal? |

its a pain in the ass in some countries. Took me a month to set up my paypal account using my european bank account as opposed to one business day using my U.S. one.

Thanks for the welcome, I've been lurking for quite some time though
(*edit* Just realized the welcome wasn't for me, d'oh)As for shipping, yeah, I would just donate extra money, but the issue is I need at least a rough estimate as to "how much". To put it in perspective, I ship a weekly FedEx envelope back state side with some paperwork, less than a kilo, costs about $65 USD.... So while throwing an extra ten spot in might be beneficial to me, it wouldn't really be cost effective to them. Last edited by hanzo; 08-05-2007 at 04:59 AM. Reason: /idiot |

They "only" send stuff out by regular US Postal Service. When I ordered a shirt and DVD, they paid about $11 or so to ship it to the UK (their electronic postage system prints the raw Postal Service charge on the label it makes). It's not super-expensive super-speedy "with a tracking number and demanding a signature" courier delivery, just turned up with the normal mail.
Have a look at USPS.com to find out roughly what the USPS cost will be. This link here (warning: I guessed at a ship weight of 2lbs, might be far too high or low) shows some prices for mailing US to UAE. Cheapest is about $15-ish based on that weight-guess. Email info@ and ask them directly how much extra they'd need. Maybe suggest an extra $15 if you're super-worried about making them poor.
