In general I am a very up beat positive person. I am DEFINITELY a glass half full, silver lining, tomorrow is another day girl.

In 2012 I had multiple back to back miscarriages that left me with postpartum depression and I learned a few things:

1. I entered this state slowly
2. I didn't realize I was depressed. I knew I wasn't happy but I didn't realize I could classify this as depression
3. Anyone close to me could tell something was drastically wrong
4. They wanted me explain myself: "What's wrong with you? Why aren't you yourself? How can we fix you?""
5. I had no idea how to fix myself, not even where to begin or how to change my mind set.

For me it took a trip to the sun, time to heal, deciding we were done with trying to have another child forever and time for my hormones to settle down. I can see how someone like Robin Williams would not be able to pull himself out of it. For me depression felt like a normal day but without the happy trying to fix that would be like trying to live a day without the thinking.

A 52-year-old man nicknamed the “Penis Collector” has been arrested by police in Slavonski Brod, a small city in eastern Croatia, on suspicion of possessing a collection of human body organs.

The man was apprehended earlier this week. When authorities entered his apartment they found jars and jars of human penises soaking in formaldehyde.

According to sources, the man, whose name has not been released, works as a registered nurse at a city hospital. He has no criminal record and has been described by some as “a family man,” though others say he is an alcoholic who often showed up to work drunk.

I don't know if anyone will actually take the time to read this, but I figured I'd put it up here anyways. It' s a poorly title article on a shitty site but it has a good thesis. As someone who has presented myself as a high-energy, goofy, and positive, I find it very relatable as a cause for my depression.
