please google what a meme is if youre unfamiliar with the term. (or read the book FLUKE by Christopher Moore for a solid introduction) and if you find yourself parroting keith, it might be possible, depending on your school of psychology, youre just emulating a perceived alpha male, which usually is a subconscious gesture of recognition. i use it to manipulate people i want to like me or hire me in the business world, mimicking gestures usually subconsciously appeals to their ego, and people like whats good for their ego. i suppose you just have to ask yourself if its the man or the idea he conveys that you appreciate more. if its the idea, its a meme, if its keith, its just a behavior hard wired into your brain stem that compels you. /shrug

I saw him on a chat show saying how he'd never got a ticket by showing the cop submissive body language, I've used it and it works. |

I don't know what this one is, because I associate this saying with Chemda (not QUITE an alpha male) but I find myself saying "balls to you" a lot. That's kind of like saying "Snakes on a Plane," I guess. By the way... how do you pronounce "meme" out loud? I have seen it written out countless times, but never heard it pronounced. urbandictionary.com does not include pronunciation so I am assed out.

what do you find silly about memes? is evolution in there too with your list of buzzwords? and how is it internet lingo? i dont think you quite grasp it yet. but keep digging, it was an 'ah ha' moment for me when i applied it to the study of anthropology, then extended it to evolution. |
