Gotta agree with you there Arcatacat, it's a fine album.

A lot of their early stuff is a bit silly for me, but this is definitely more grown up, and to say there's 28 tracks on it the standard remains high.

Anyone read Kiedis' autobiography? Good fun, he was smoking dope and screwing chicks almost as soon as he could walk. Lucky bastard.

Its not so new but the last thing I bought in a music store is Robert Randolph and the Family Band. A little different than my usual fare but this kid (listen to me hes probably about 28) Rocks a steel guitar like no one else...

Last album bought: "Rock Partouze" (EP) (The Hot Springs)

I tend to be almost obsessively patriotic in my buying habits, i.e. I buy Canadian music almost exclusively. The last "foreign" album I bought was "Good Health" by Pretty Girls Make Graves.

It's something like he was raised in canada then moved to England, and is in the military and stationed in Germany.
