Podcast Alley never had any relevance. Just as Alexa ratings tell you nothing about the popularity of a podcast (as opposed to a website), Podcast Alley tells you nothing about the popularity of anything.

static IP's are an extra here, probably the same in the usa. if it's cable they seem to give you adsl from reading the timewarner site from earthlink or someone.

No offense to KATG, they would be the most popular and best podcast of this group.

harry potter is popular that's why JKR is so rich but it's not an 8 million download per episode podcast (that's what Ricky Gervais claimed on a chat show here in the UK)

Ricky Gervais' site claims the 8 million download is the total for all 25 episodes released so far. New free show released yesterday.

The Guinness Book of World Records has "The Ricky Gervais Podcast" as the most downloaded podcast
but since they went down the pay-per-show route TWiT is now the most downloaded podcast.
