random observations

i couldn't find deuce's old thread that had people's random observations on it so here's a surrogate:

some things that i noticed just recently...

when there's 2 turn lanes...most people only use 1 of them. this pisses me off because i could make the light if some people would even the shit out!

also...i saw a sign on a waffle house that said "now hiring: immediate interviews". why not just put a sign out saying, "you're hired: we're desperate"?

I can't answer every observation that comes up, but I can answer these first two.

The turning lanes: You're used to that area. Street signs and roads signs usually aren't there until the last minute, so we go in the one that's the safest bet. Or we drive between two lanes until we figure it out. Fuck you; should've made bigger signs.

The bad thing about the IMMEDIATE HIRES is when us wannabe workers stop in with a beautiful resume and they hand you a generic form instead and tell you it will be mailed off to the head supervisor. "Thank you; we'll put it on file." BUT I'M DRESSED AS A WAFFLE! LIKE YOUR SIGN!

For a city known for not getting shit done, the drivers in DC are the most impatient asshats on the planet!

Random Observation:

I'm way more annoyed by people who don't even signal at all. My idea? Glad you asked.

Add a "straight signal" on a car. Either a signal in the middle of the bumper (front and back) or both turn signals on and not blinking means "I'm not turning. I'm going straight."

If you are stopped and you aren't signalling either left, right, or straight, then everybody knows you are an asshole and gets to punch you in the face.

That would be just one of the great laws in LickmyballssuckmyLand.
