I do. Zum Schneider, 7th Street & Avenue C, East Village. A great dive bar a block up the street is 7B a/k/a Horsehoe Bar.

Has the Berghoff changed since the owners retired and it closed, then re-opened? Its' now '17 West at the Berghoff'. Haven't been there in years, granted I don't live in Chicago anymore.

Berghoffs has old grisled, sneering waiters, and the food has that same attitude. They serve the special kind of hearty, beastly food that would inspire someone to annex Czechoslovakia. Rarrr!

I'd almost rather suck a dick than eat german/czech food (which by the way is almost indistinguable except that german's insist on even worst meat than the czechs)

Yeah, I couldn't figure out what exactly was going on with the name. Everything seemed pretty much the same, but I could be wrong.
