Riddle me this
I was watching a video and it froze, but the audio kept going. The mouse and keyboard did not respond. Then the screen went black and the monitors light went from green to orange (like when the computer is off but the monitor power is still on). The audio was still playing, but I had to do a reset on the computer to get the monitor back. Any idea what caused it?

I have had something similar happen a few times before with desktops during games. When it happened in each case, it was a video card driver issue. (or in one case it was the video card crapping out).

If it's an older video card on Win XP, it may be a Direct X issue, unfortunately, since everyone's moving to Vista, XP driver issues with video cards go unfixed by the manufacturer. It sounds like a hiccup that you just may have to deal with.
