Are these all old Marvel/DC type comics? Or are there newish comics as well. Most of the comics I like are on Vertigo or Dark Horse, shit like that. But this gives me a chance to post (in no particular order) comics I enjoy.

Sandman (of course. The best comic series ever)
Lucifer (based on Lucifer from Sandman. A really brilliant series)
Squee (hilarious and twisted. "Now with 'Meanwhiles!'")
Madman (Mike Allred has awesome art and hilarious writing)
Preacher (Spooky, I know you hate this art, but the story is fantastic)
The Dark Knight Returns (proving Batman can kick Superman's ass, given the chance)
Blade of the Immortal (one of two mangas that I'm into. Beautiful art, often done in pencil, and lots and lots of violence)
Ranma 1/2 (the other manga I like. It is hilarious and features a panda)
Boneyard (who doesn't want to live in a cemetery with wisecracking skeletons and monsters?)
The Invisibles (pretentious and written by a weirdo, but awesome all the same)
Red Son (what if Superman had landed in communist Russia? Again, Batman is proven to be awesome)
Sin City (anyone who sees movies already knows how cool this is)
Calvin and Hobbes (the wrong kind of comic, but the best newspaper strip ever created)
