What do we do now?

Just curious how the listeners feel about buying a relationship book from people who can't maintain their own relationship...

If you can maintain a successful relationship that was good, healthy, fun...while running a business together, pretty much spending most of every single day together...for as long as Keith and Chemda did.

You have just as much right as anyone to write a relationship book.
I've bought two copies....they're great, good advice, some hilarious passages.

And if I weren't a broke college student I'd probably buy more copies as gifts for some friends.

If someone wrote a book about trying to make yourself happy, would you feel betrayed if they were sad for a day?

Good advice tends to be self-evident, especially regarding relationships. A monetary advice book isn't any better if the author is a million dollar lottery winner and WDWDN isn't any worse for not being written by two people eternally destined to ride unicorns into the stars.

Who's to say that a relationship that doensn't last forever doesn't count at all? How many couples do you even know that lasted as long as they did? Five or six years is impressive enough, and theirs is probably one of the best relationships I have ever seen. Just because they broke up in the end doesn't change everything.

IMHO, this is a ridiculous question. Would you not buy a book about whales because it wasn't written by a whale? Do you know the personal history of every author you read?

Come on man, there is so much more in the world to fret about than this. Where is the love?

Still cuttin' myself to get to sleep every night... anything to not feel the pain... sometimes I hope and wish and pray that I'll wake up in the morning to be heading out to a clown gig in Connecticut.. or that i won't wake up at all
