While the single player campaign in MW2 was lacking, I did enjoy the Spec Ops mode.

i have a pc but if a game is good i am ok about paying for it. steam makes everything less hard and priating is a sickening hassle

I ask because two of the biggest scumbag companies with bad reps have been trying to raise their PC game prices by $10. No packaging, disk duplication, manual printing, distribution, or any of the other costs of producing physical copies. They're saving money and raising the prices. On the console side, they're still paying for all these things AND paying Sony/Microsoft an additional licensing fee. That's why console games were $10 more to begin with.

I'm curious to see if console gamers, who usually (incorrectly) think gaming on a PC is too expensive, would still buy games if they got a $10 price hike.

Personally, I won't buy anything more than $50. Steam has awesome sales, but Activi$ion kept COD4 at $50 more than a year after it's release. Modern Warfare 2 is a year old and they have it on Steam now for $60.

Insane.

The campaigns were okay, but they were incredibly short and linear, with no long term or replay value.

I won't buy a CoD game, just because I know I won't want to play it online. I'm in it for the story. If a new CoD game had a story that had at least a little replay value, I'd buy it, but I haven't seen that.

And I don't play console games.

i bought codmw2 pc for $40 on amazon the 2nd week it was out. i played the beta for moh and skipped it when it released. i likely will skip codbo too unless its got something fucking magical going for it.... and i can find a copy for $40 =p

i agree, digital downloads should be at least $5 cheaper... those bastards...
