Waiting for portal 2 to decrypt....so excited. Even thought I can't really play it till tomorrow

should I get a DS

not the new 3ds, but the old one, with my store credit at gamestop it would be under 100 dollars.

I LOVE jrpg's and I know that the DS is loaded with them. (And not just the good ones, i love the crappy anime ripoff ones too) not to mention all the final fantasy remakes and kingdom hearts spinoffs.

Should i get one or is it too late.

Anyways... in response to Dr. Sleep there, I would say go with whatever platform has the greatest amount of games you like (or even within a particular genre). The DS does have some great JRPGS, as well as remakes of the classics. Plus, once you're done with those, load up an emulator and play basically anything you want.

If you have a 360 or PS3, I would suggest Tales of Vesperia. Great times.

I read Portal 2 was a huge disappointment on a couple of gaming sites today. Guess I might just pass on that one.

Na, I say it's never to late.

The 3DS isn't gonna have to many good games for a while, AND people will be upgrading. So you could probly get a used one cheap.

I read some saying it's $50 for 3-4 hours of content, and that Valve is already stocking up on the DLC to make you spend even more money to get any enjoyment out of it.

I'll probably buy it once the price drops on a weekend sale or something.

i seriously dont give a fuck about principle or whatever. Portal 2 is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, worth the wait and practically perfect. choose your prices, wait but get it, its a gem of design, polish and intelligence like anything ive seen recently.

I dont get the valve hatred, honestly but seems like a lot of people love to be pissed at someone even if they do basically all good stuff.
