That's fair. Bourne is also pretty kick-ass.

Company who owns the rights can't afford to make another good one, but aren't willing to sell off the rights. In short.

I don't know, but changing Craig to another Bond wouldn't necessarily reflect the coming end of the Bond series...Connery's run was great...then George Lazenby only lasted 1 movie, and his was decent enough, then the series lasted quite a run with Moore...then Dalton just had 2 and Brosnan's films were pretty successful....Craig has 2...so if the pattern continues...

an even better and more epic Bond should come soon with a decent run of films.

I thought it was going to be another vanity piece for Drew Barrymore but it was actually a lot of fun and not really focused on her at all. I totally have a girl crush on Ellen Page. I also spotted Zoe Bell, the stunt woman turned actress who doubled for Uma Thurman in Kill Bill and played a part in Death Proof. I dunno, probably still counts as a chick flick but I liked the roller derby scenes and crazy ass Juliette Lewis is always great.

I'm confused about when it's supposed to take place, though. It has a definite 80's feel to it but they make a couple of modern references, like Smashley Simpson (Barrymore's derby name) and something about Spiderman 3.

I decided to finish the Alien quadrilogy:

I'm sort of surprised that I actually liked 4 better than 3. The underwater scene I think made it worth the watch. Plus I like sort of liked Winona Ryder. Parts of it are campy, but by the fourth in a series, I expect that.

You can definitely see where Firefly was brewing in Whedon's head through the crew of the Betty.

I took this as taking place in modern day, but the area Page lived in was kinda old fashioned.

I do agree it was an adorable movie! Drew Barrymore was probably only in this movie just so she could fake punch some chicks (cause that's all she did).

3.5/5 Because it's a light movie to enjoy but nothing groundbreaking.

Yeah I forgot the dad googles her to find video of her playing so it must be modern day. They all had some broke ass cars, though!

Southland Tales wow. If this was supposed to be a comedy, I loved it. If not, I have no fucking clue what I saw.
