From the recommendation here, I watched the station agent. Not bad, bit strange. I wonder if the lead character was always cast as a midget, the role could easily have been filled by any loner.

Goodbye Solo. Meh. Like a lot of indie films, the characters sucked and there was no ending. Somehow my boyfriend and my dad loved it. I don't see how.

That's the perfect way to explain it. "fairly meh."

I tried watching wishmaster 3 last night but fuck, i mean, it was a shit series to begin with but 3 totally takes any kind of rules or plot points that the wrlds in 1 & 2 were built on and throws them out the window. Asking a guy "Wuldn't you like to escape from this job?" and then putting him in a houdini situation is one thing. But when the first wish genie #3 makes (who is a different actor than in 1 & 2) is "I wish i were loved by the two most beautiful women in the world" ends with them tearing him apart... it doesn't even make sense! it's not even a stretch! grr.
