I'm saying the *NAs served a purpose - quite clearly this is visible by their shear volume of posts. It is certainly more difficult to make friendships if everyone has to stay "on topic" in specific threads.

Why do you have so much trouble with it? If you don't like the *NAs don't read them and don't post on them. There have been huge numbers of threads created, some long lasting, which have no interest to me at all. I don't read them and don't post on them. They're not for me. I'm ok with that.

yeah, except, you changed your mind, your point of view. which is what i was saying.

i do lose arguments from time to time, im not sure why thats some sort of jab to you, but i do see you commonly try to "bring me down a notch". maybe im taking it wrong? how about instead of say "you lose sometimes, haha" you try and win?

Were they from one of the *NAs?

Yet somehow people still manage to make friends without *NA here and elsewhere.

I don't care either way. I had a few hundred posts in SNA, but it's gone. Whoopty doo.

you miss the point. the *NA threads themselves werent the problem, they were the cause of the problem. SNA was a nontopical thread, which is silly and fun and fine. however, you cant make ALL threads nontopical, as many were doing. people concerned with their post counts were spamming, ive seen some of you post over 100 times a day, one in particular almost 200 times in a day, and they werent contained to SNA. THATS the problem, and it learned how to act in those threads.

I did 200 posts in SNA in a day once. That was fun. I kept it to SNA, though.

Are there rules to these forums?

Can someone get me a copy of what the rules and regulations are for posting or starting a thread?
