198: Shows 3555 - 3557
This week we talked about voting being stressful and not knowing Dirty Dancing had an abortion in it. We discussed R. Kelly as well as Keith’s divorce saving the day. Keith be knowing all of grammar rules, and I, Karen, thank Keith for going over this to help me look good for the people.
Editor’s note: Karen actually sent the description using emojis and Jesus what a mess it was trying to fix the spacing. Enjoy. If I killed baby Hitler I would probably stop existing, the WW2 had an impact on my family in many ways. And if I stopped existing who would have killed Hitler?
The non existing me? It's confusing. |

I think I dont like going to the beach and I'm secure enough to admit it. Finally.
Why Apia? 1. Salty water. It's not great on my skin when it's drying. 2. Sand everywhere. 3. Should I want to swim after all what should I do with my wallet, keys and phone? 4. Too many people in most cases. I might be a cold weather person. I dont freeze easily. I think its the Eastern European genes. |

RE: IDs
I have a few stories. First when I first got my permit, I signed my name as Jenni instead of Jennifer, no one told me I needed to sign with my legal name as that was literally the first time I would have had to sign with my legal name. Never thought it would be an issue until I got married and tried to change it to Jennifer plus my married name. I had the wedding license and my brand new social security card and I was told I could only change my last name. If I wanted to change my first name I needed to bring my birth certificate in to prove that it was Jennifer. I asked “even though I have two pieces of ID with my current name you need me to bring a document that is definitely not current? So I just let it go…until I had to take my licensing exam for social work. Since everything had to match, I had to deal with changing it again after digging through my parents old documents. Thank god they actually had it. As a social worker I’ve had to help the geriatric population, some of whom were homeless in getting their documents so they could apply for disability and Medicaid. Well you have to have your birth certificate-one lady told me she was born in a toilet and never had a birth certificate. She couldn’t even tell me where she was born. One of the homeless men I worked with definitely had dementia but could remember his name and social security number and that was it. It took a lot of pleading and letters from doctors, psychiatrists, myself to convince them to make an exception. And it was hard for me to understand sometimes everything they needed and I have a literal masters degree. I did tell a snarky worker that once that if someone like me who has a masters has a hard time then they definitely need to re-work their website or just acknowledge that they don’t want to actually help people get these benefits. That is what is so annoying with these damn politicians just lying to us. Just call me stupid and be done with it. Like-we know several of the Supreme Court justices lied their asses off during their confirmation hearings-what are the consequences? Not a damn thing since neither side wants to actually do something about the rampant fraud and bullshit going on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How can Karen be expected to pronounce anyone's name correctly when she can't even pronounce her own?
This is Keeeeeerrrrrrannnn. It's actually exceedingly cute and I love hearing it. Nothing against Rod and Karen, I think they're great. But I love hearing Bianca on the show. Mainly because it's great to hear she's still alive. |
