I once went on a two week vacation in a camping trailer and spent my time hiking up mountains, through forests, swimming, kayaking and mountain biking.
I sprained my ankle while getting out of my car. I thinks it's because we are less careful when doing ordinary things. |

KATG background laughs have always ruled and Xerxes' laugh is one of the best, especially since it works in a kind of feedback loop with Chemda's - you hear Chemda laugh, then as she pauses for breath you hear Xerxes cracking up in the other room, and that only make Chemda laugh even harder.
I remember one of the Xerxes laughs from that abandoned Coughing Fit Keith ep came from Keith reading a "Bucho says ..." chat thing, but it should be said that Keith took the basic premise of my chat thing, re-worded and shaped it on the fly into something that could be delivered way funnier than what I wrote. It should also be said though that it didn't take the experience of Keith doing instant punch-up on one of my chat shots for me to recognize that the dude is extraordinarily comedically gifted (I, like most fans I assume, picked it up within the first KATG episode I ever heard!) which makes it super rude that Craig and Chemda - people who've known Keith for way longer than I have - doubted that he could and would deliver on his set this year like he's done a literal babillion times before. |

They do teach you how to tread water when you start lessons but it's not easy at all. For me, it was probably the hardest thing to learn in the class. I found getting into the water, floating, and the various strokes to be easier.
I passed all of the beginner courses and still couldn't do it. Many of the people in my class couldn't. I imagine it's much easier when you're a kid. Maybe I'll try again and take the one-on-one class, as Karen was mentioning. |

Had a roommate that went to college on a swimming scholarship. My earliest memories are of almost drowning, so I basically never learned to swim. Before literally anything else, he taught me the sidestroke. For me it clicked really easily, you never have to put your face below the water, and it's super efficient in a life saving situation. Shrug
Also, Home Depot and Lowes still don't have the bloop to this day. Ridiculous |
