My parents and my mother in law are the only people I know who didn’t get Covid yet.
And my parents were with my kids when they started being infectious last year. ( they tested positive the next morning) Those vaccines seemed to have worked pretty well! Glad you are fine R and K! |

I finally got COVID at a comedy show after 2+ years of being safe.
YOU'RE WELCOME!!! Rod and Karen's story regarding her test reminded me of something: I always look at people sideways when their entire family or friends group has COVID from an event they all went to, they have similar symptoms, but because they tested negative they think it's totally fine to go out and mingle with people. You either didn't take the test correctly or it doesn't work the same way for you. I didn't even test positive until day 3, until I had a lot of mucus in my nose. But I was showing symptoms for days before that. It's 2023. Even if you're in the middle of the "common cold" you should be staying home until the symptoms subside (minus an asthmatic cough). |
