Even in a professional setting, I sometimes say "quite welcome" which I think somehow is easier to hear. But almost always use no problem, of course, or absolutely. Probably in that order for frequency of usage. And the occasional "but of course" when I'm feeling obnoxious

As a foreigner I can tell you, when I learned about the expression " you are welcome " I thought it was quite strange and that I would never use it.
Welcome to what?

That Little House On the Prairie reference! My dad used me and my sister to live out his Little House on The Prairie fantasies. As kids he “jokingly” started insisting we call him Pa, and then he fucking ran with it. I’m a fully grown adult and only exchange at most 2 emails a year with him now... and he still signs off with, “Love Pa”.

You're welcome is weird. I'm a mailman and I pepper in a few "absolutely" along with the standard "no problem" and "sure thing" when I get thanked. Absolutely is so positive that there's no way to misinterpret it.

If my mailman said "You're welcome," I'd get a dog just so it rips their genitals off. That attitude shouldn't breed.

You could perform a vasectomy on him with the kitchen knife you got as a present if the dog doesn't understand the assignment.
