It’s not a given that cortisone will affect your face.
But it’s a possibility. So I guess she was warned but there are more possible side effects that don’t happen.
Cortisone injections aren’t great in a long run but sometimes the only option because they work fast and can be used for all kinds of unspecific inflammation and so sometimes they are necessary and there is no alternative.

Amy Schumer has always been on some bullshit when it comes to her appearance.

I HAVE EYEBALLS AND I CAN SEE YOU. Don't lie to me and say "I'm a size 8" because you're not. I'm a woman with a body who also has eyes, I know you're lying. It's weird lying because prior to that I was not wondering what your numerical size at all was.

She's always been built thick but pretends like she's not. She had a baby and then got the eastern european fat face, and is like "oh it's Cushings, oh cortisone" girl stop. You look like how you look. You always looked like a cabbage patch, it's only getting more pronounced. Go get therapy and stop being a weird liar.

This makes it worth it! There's a lot happening when you're recording with funny people who are all being funny at the same time. But whenever a joke slips through the cracks I know the forums will find it.

And not just for me. I miss jokes from other people and it seems like the audience always highlights it so I can go back and enjoy that moment!

At this rate, Fast food employees will get more experience and training than cops on how to handle dangerous people.

Having a low key wedding is hard half the time for people because it's one of the areas family thinks they are entitled to have a say in...even if they aren't paying for it. I once said I'd liked the idea of a BBQ wedding for lower costs and casualness. My mother, who spent my whole childhood declaring she wouldn't help any child pay for college or weddings, responded with "Just because you don't have class, it doesn't mean I have to suffer it."

I replied with "So you'll be paying for it then?" She stared in silence, so I responded with: "Then I guess you'll suffer."
